Today, protests occurred throughout Tunisia, including in the governorates of: - Kasserine (Cité Ezzouhour, Cité Ennour, Thala, Feriana, and Sbeitla), - Kairouan (Bouhajla and Oueslatia), - Sidi Bouzid, - Kef (Sakiet Sidi Youssef), - Manouba (Tebourba), - Mahdia (Melloulèche)
Clashes and rock throwing also broke out between protesters and security forces. In Tebourba, Manouba Governorate, a youth involved in the protests died (cause unclear) and several security officers were injured. Another officer was hospitalized in Kasserine.
